J.K. Holmgren Engineering, Inc. (JKHE) was contracted to provide a phase 1 and 2 complete site design for a 42,700 s.f. child care facility in a residential zoning district.
JKHE’s services included extensive research at the municipal and county level. Additional services included: a concept variance plan for zoning change, a complete topographic and boundary survey; soil evaluations; wetlands location; complete site design and engineering drawings for presentation to the City of Brockton.
JKHE represented our client at various environmental hearings as well as the Site Plan Review Board.
The site posed some particular engineering constraints due to the proximity of the wetland resource area and severe changes in the existing topography.
Upon completion of the project, JKHE performed a comprehensive as-built survey for the City of Brockton, and a Certificate of Compliance Plan to satisfy the Conservation Commission.
