J.K. Holmgren Engineering, Inc. (JKHE) was contracted to provide a Feasibility Plans for a 40 unit - 40B project (affordable housing) involving residential condominiums on Route 106, West Bridgewater, MA.
JKHE’s services included research at the municipal and county levels. Initially a Variance Plan was prepared for the Zoning Board of Appeals. Other services included a complete topographic and boundary survey; soil evaluations; wetlands location; Filing of a Notice of Intent with the Conservation Commission; sanitary disposal system design for a 9,000-gallon tank and associated pump chamber; complete site design; and engineering drawings including drainage and roadway design for presentation to the various departments within the Town of West Bridgewater. JKHE also provided an extensive landscaping and lighting plan and as-built plans were prepared for the Town of West Bridgewater once the project was completed.
JKHE represented our client at various environmental hearings, Board of Health meetings and Planning Board hearings.
Since this development was a 40B project for affordable housing, local by-laws did not apply and JKHE followed the State Wetland Protection Act.
