J.K. Holmgren Engineering, Inc. (JKHE) was original contracted to provide an ALTA/ACSM Title Insurance Survey for a residential subdivision.
JKHE’s services included research at the municipal and county levels. Initially a Variance Plan and an Environmental Impact Report was prepared for the Zoning Board of Appeals. Other services included a complete topographic and boundary survey; soil evaluations; wetlands location; Filing of a Notice of Intent with the Conservation Commission; complete definitive subdivision design; and engineering drawings including drainage and roadway design for presentation to the various departments within the Town of Abington. Once the Subdivision Plans were approved, JKHE prepared several Building Permit Plot Plans for individual owners.
JKHE represented our client at various environmental hearings, as well as the Planning Board, and the Army Corps. Of Engineers
The site posed some particular engineering constraints due to some construction in the Floodplain and the Wetlands Overlay District.
